Welcome To My Gallery Of Fine Art Home Page
My plan when I majored in fine arts at Ohio State, was to became a world-famouse commercial artist. Bill Hard, however, had other ideas, and since he is a super salesman. I excused myself for being sold on marriage and motherhood. So twenty years later I restarted my ambitions with pottery, which I still do for family and friends.
I did portraits in pastels for years, then animal art, mainly at group shows for the Columbus Zoo. Now I've discovered watercolor, using the same basic techniques that were successful in pastels.
With a backlog of photos taken at over 500 golf courses in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Switzerland, Italy and Morocco, the inspiration knows no bounds. Neither does Bill Hard who continues his golf hobby. counting over 1,000 courses to date. When I'm with him, we visit picturesque sights for my photo scrapbooks. I think the Arizona, Utah, New Mexico red rocks are my favorites, but, the Glacier National park scenes are a close second. I hate to put the Oregon seacoast third because it is anything but third-rate. I'm just glad that they build golf courses in such spectacular settings.
